TITLE: Software QA/Automation and Manual Testing
CONTRACT: 8 weeks with possibility of extension
LOCATION: First few weeks in Montreal. REMOTE after that.
COMPENSATION: Based on your experience and skills
HOURS: About 24 hours per week
START: ASAP
TRAVEL: None likely but some business travel may be required.
Our client must make an IMMEDIATE HIRE to enhance its current Quality Assurance Analyst testing team. The ideal candidate knows Drupal and can work in either an Agile or Waterfall environment and provide both manual and automation testing. The environment requires experience with Windows, Mac and mobile applications.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of an application testing course or the candidate holds a QA testing certification.
- 4 years manual and automation testing.
- 4 years in either an Agile or Waterfall environment. Experience with both is preferred.
- Artifact preparation such as work with functional test plans, master plans and test strategies.
- Multiple years experience in each of the following:
- Tracking and reporting on defects.
- Unit testing.
- Integration testing.
- Regression testing.
- Validation testing.
- UAT testing.
- Test case creation.
- Test plan creation.
- 2 years experience with tools such as JIRA.
- 2 years experience Scripting in PHP and HTML.
- 2 years experience Scripting in Java.
