Industrial Electrician PLC - Akron, Ohio - JOB
Temporary to Direct $20 - $22 per hour
Akron Company is seeking an Industrial Electrician whose responsibilities will be to provide electrical expertise for capital projects, maintenance and controls issues in all aspects of the manufacturing process and facilities, including industrial lighting. They will perform the duties of electrician, automation, instrumentation, and controls technician.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required (Electrical/Technical certification preferred)
- 5+ years' Industrial I&E experience highly desired
- Electrical experience in an Industrial environment preferred
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC's and programming tools, with an emphasis in Control Logix, HMI and Control Networks.
- Strong electrical and mechanical operation skills with ability to troubleshoot industrial machines.
- Able to read schematics, blueprints, layout drawings, PLC's, pneumatics.
- AutoCAD experience a plus.
- Must have good communication skills (written and verbal)
