Senior Network Operations Center Engineer

$50-52/hr
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Voice and Data Network Engineer to support a large enterprise Network.
Education: 4-year College Degree desired, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
Experience Required:
10 years hands-on experience
- Aruba Wireless
- Cisco Routers and Switches, Firewalls,riverbed, Mobility, 802.11, etc
- Sniffers,
Five Years hands-on
- VOIP, Multicast, SIP, BGP, OSPF, frame-relay, MPLS
- DNS, DHCP,
- Network Management Systems such as NNMI, Remedy, NA, OO
Skills Required:
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork ethic and customer support focus
Skills Preferred:
- Scripting
- Linux and Windows
- Automation
- Avaya and Cisco Voice
- Telepresence
The successful candidate will be become a member of a Network Operations Center (NOC). The candidate's primary responsibility will be the day to day support of the Data, VOIP, and Signals running across the network. The candidate will be expected to analyze complicated systems, document application standards, and assure high levels of stability, reliability, and availability of the production network environment, consistent with established change control policies and prescribed procedures. This is a 24/7 Operations center with rotating shifts every two months. Need candidates with some flexibility.
