Maximum Pay Rate: £300-£345

Procurement Advisor
1. Relevant experience working in a commercial and procurement organisation, ideally having supported procurement activities in the past.
2. Ideally qualified or working towards CIPS Advanced Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (NQF level 4).
3. Ideally qualified to or working towards CIPS Foundation Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (NQF level.
4. Ideally holding Certificate of Competence in Purchasing and Supply (NQF level 3).
1. Relevant experience working in a commercial and procurement organisation, ideally having supported procurement activities in the past.
2. Commercially aware and appreciates concepts of value for money.
3. Familiarity with EU procurement law and relevant UK legislation.
4. Experience of supporting a pipeline of activities to ensure on-time delivery of procurement milestones.
5. Able to provide assistance to stakeholders/clients/suppliers in procurement queries.
The role will work with the ESMCP Project Delivery and Transition Team, supporting specific activities such as market engagement, procurement objectives, grant agreements and commercial support to transition.
The post holder will have responsibility for the following:
1. Support day-to-day management of Project Delivery procurement workstreams to meet milestones.
2. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Build relationships with the Project Delivery and Transition Team providing support and guidance on procurement and commercial matters.
4. Coordinate, gather and analyse information required to create compliant and commercially sound procurement documentation.
5. Able to understand existing CCS framework contacts and e-sourcing tools and techniques.
6. Maintain awareness of developments in procurement policy and recent case law.
