Software Engineer (JS, HTML, CSS, REST) - 6 Month rolling contract - Dublin 4
Software Engineer - This is an urgent requirement for a Software Engineer, looking to start immediately on a 6 month initial contract with a view to extend. Paying competitive daily rates.
My client are a leading international communications company and they are looking for a skilled Software Developer/Engineer with experience with webApp programming JS, HTML, CSS and REST with exposure to development languages such as C#, C++ and Java.
Working with colleagues locally and in Silicon Valley you will be responsible for architecture, design, development, testing and integration of both next generation IP TV platform (for tablet, phone, PC and Embedded STB) and cloud services.
Requirements:
- Experience programming JavaScript HTML5/CSS professionally
- Experience in Object Orientated Design C#, C++, JAVA
- Experience designing and developing unit, component and functional tests and test infrastructure
- Understanding of web technologies and development of performant and scalable web solutions
- Ideally experience in the development of DVB, IPTV and Internet TV client or server products (but not essential)
- Experience in development for iOS and/or Android based devices (But not essential)
