Oracle DBA - Production Support - Dulbin Ireland
Experienced Required:
Oracle S/W installation, DB upgrades/patching/migrations
Backup and recovery with RMAN
Troubleshooting oracle instance/SQL performance issues
Data replication with Oracle data guard (Physical standby)
Data replication with Oracle Golden Gate
Oracle RAC administration/backup recovery/performance troubleshooting
Experience as Oracle DBA (Oracle 9i, 10g/11g/Oracle RAC) on SUSE Linux, AIX, Solaris and Windows platforms.
Oracle Database Upgrade, DB Migration, DB Clone, DB Refresh activities.
Oracle Database installation, configuration, support.
Oracle RAC installation, configuration, Support
Database Design, creation, Database Estimation/Sizing, Licensing.
Very good SQL and Shell Scripting knowledge, cron jobs, DBMS jobs.
Excellent in DB troubleshooting skills and Performance Tuning, AWR, ADDM
OEM configuration and troubleshooting
Management of database resources (assignment of table spaces, space in HD, update system parameters, etc.).
Sound knowledge of Oracle RAC clusters, Data guard, 10g/11g Grid control
Good presentation skill to CXO level on RCA (Root Caused Analysis) findings.
Sound knowledge to co-ordinate with Oracle corporation support/Metal ink SR support
