Profile SAS Contractor - Amsterdam
For one of our clients, a financial institution in Amsterdam, we are looking for a SAS Programmer/Developer
You will undertake with the help of SAS Enterprise Guide changes to the existing tool. These activities relate to the design and programming in SAS/UNIX environment to integrate data and calculate expected loss on the basis of mathematical formulas (risk models) and decision trees.
The project team has developed a SAS tool and runs on a quarterly basis the impact. This tool is adjusted quarterly based on the latest insights on accounting regulations and is also used to test envisaged policy on the basis of production data. The results are on the one hand used to inform business lines about the impact, sr. Management inspection for the purpose of strategic portfolio management and to design policy.
The ideal candidate
- Knowledge and experience in designing and programming in SAS Enterprise Guide in UNIX
- Can work independently and build complex calculation rules
- Has knowledge of data retrieval
- Worked with Teradata
- Has experience in Finance Sector
- Can work in a small team with big exposure
- Is practical and solution-driven
- Is familiar with the agile/scrum approach
- Has a quality conscious approach (self-testing are critical of your own work)
Contract Length - 3 months Rolling (9 - 12 months total)
Rate - €450 - €500 per day
