Senior Application Developer - Cobol, i5/OS (IBM i), SQL/DB2

Importance:
Application development in the area of CMSII, CMS-KB and MMS (Card Management System, Merchant Management System Back Office - Transaction Processing and other related applications) - primary focus is on the Card Transaction Processing System. Assignment is a document, prepared by functional manager, product or project manager, for important business partners directly customer, which ordered realisation of the requirement.
Analyses, development and test of the requirement. Output application is hand over (product manager/functional manager/project manager/client), which provides acceptation of realised work and take over the work.
SPECIFIC TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
*Independently realises requirements on the base of functional manager/product manager/project manager/business partner's input.
*Is responsible for the proper design of application, realisation and testing process of the new implemented functions. Is responsible for elimination of negative impact of new changes (upgrades) to the previously introduced functions.
*Programs in the corresponding program language, primarily Cobol, on the base of analytical documentation.
*Experience in developing i5/OS applications for both interactive and batch processing.
*Participates on the designs and discusses process of concept solutions of computer applications.
*Participates on the tests and debugging of complex programs units and complicated tasks.
*Knowledge of basic principles and regulations of card associations related to the subject domain, for which is processed development. Is not responsible for monitoring of association's regulations and keep the systems in accordance with this association's regulations - changes provides only when he/she has the instructions from functional manager or the product manager after approved by functional manager.
*Participates on the creation of user's documentation and function's specifications.
*Supports internal operation and customer operation for the entrusted area of application environment.
*Manages minor projects.
*Provides technical communication with other sections and in the case of authorisation by manager of the section can communicates with the customer.
*Cooperates with other sections on the preparation and accomplishment of all necessary and settled tests.

*Environment i5/OS (IBM i), SQL/DB2, Cobol, DDS, CL,
*MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
