Proteus Europe is searching for a SAP consultant who will be member of a SAP system administration and support team providing business critical IT services to the customer for one of pur clients in Belgium

Your New role:-
Description:
o the candidate is member of a SAP system administration and support team providing business critical IT services to the customer, taking into account the defined service levels with the customer;
o Authorizations management (users, roles, jobs);
o Transport management in all SAP systems;
o SAP point of Contact for all sessions related to performance, implementation,
o Surveillance, reporting and propose actions regarding:
o Availability
o Capacity
o Performance
o EarlyWatch
o Provide technical advice for design and implementation of new components;
o Daily monitoring and performance check;
o Clients copies;
o Systems copies;
o Trace and identify performance issue to be reported to SAP Support;
o Manage all SAP devices (Printers, copiers, e-mailing);
o Prepare statistics and reporting for SAP Production.
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
Skills:
-Minimum 5 years of experience in working as SAP-BC consultant in a business critical IT services support team;
-Minimum 5 years in the following domains: upgrades, system copies, SAP installs
-BW en/of PI/PO installaties
Minimum 2 years in the following domains:
-Solaris
-Linux
Desirable Skills:-
- Other SAP BC nice-to-have technical skills:
- BI/BW(loads, jobs, RFC);
- HANA
- Solution Manager
- SAP Portal
- CRM
- ECC 6.0;
- PI/PO;
- Web dispatchers;
- IDES;
- APO (Automatic Planning Optimization) installation under NT/UNIX platform;
- Documentation in knowledge database.
- ITIL processes: knowledge of:
- Incident management;
- Problem management;
- Change management.
- Soft skills:
- Team player, but also able to work autonomously;
- Good communications skills;
- Ability to learn fast (also self-learning);
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities;
- Able to combine IQ with EQ.
Nice to have:
- Database Management (Oracle 10g, 11g, 12g);
- Oracle Tuning
