System Engineer - Dutch/French speaking

Whitehall resources are currently recruiting for a System Engineer for our client in Belgium.

Start: ASAP
End: 31.12.2016 + extension
Location: Brussels
Rate: EUR per day all in

Profile:
- Bachelor or Master in Informatics or similar by relevant experience
- Knowledge of WebLogic Application Server
- JBoss Application Server
- Red Hat Openshift V2/V3
- Reverse Proxy
- F5 Firewall
- Experience with message oriented Middleware (MQ) is an asset.
- Minimal Languages - Dutch/French

Technical Skills: Scripting in bash is an asset
- Linux (Red Hat Enterprise, Oracle)
- Knowledge of deployment automation is a plus
- Monitoring Troubleshoot of Middleware environments (Weblogic, JBoss Application Server, MQSeries)

The Role:
- Setup and support of the Middleware environment (WebLogic, JBoss application Servers, MQ message bus).
- Implement and support the migration of the existing WebLogic to Openshift V2 V3
- Install and maintain the Middleware environment and components (patching/upgrading)
- Install application in the Middleware environment Acceptation/Prod
- Troubleshoot the Middleware environment by conducting the necessary actions
- Monitor the Middleware environment, interpret the alerts and act accordingly.
- Implement changes with limited direction of a senior colleague or contribute to larger/more complex projects as a team member using specialist knowledge, delivering defined activities on time and to the expected quality.
- Support implementation of relevant policies, processes and systems.
