Role - ElasticSearch Developer
Contract - 5 months
Location - South Wales
Experienced ElasticSearch Developer required initially for a 5 month contract for my client based in South Wales.
As the Developer you will work with a team to improve the capabilities of my clients website search service, including support for geographic datasets and data discovery.
Essential skills and experience
*Significant experience with at least one programming language commonly used for Back End web development - ideally Java.
*Significant experience with ElasticSearch
*Knowledge of the latest secure coding practices (eg OWASP).
*Experience with multiple web development frameworks.
*Experience working with relational or non-relational databases.
*Experience working in an agile team using BDD and TDD.
*Experience of complex projects enabling the candidate to input and lead on design decisions.
*Experience of working as a developer within an agile team. eg Using Scrum, Kanban or similar methodologies.
