SAP BI/BW Consultant with HANA.
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP BI/BW Consultant with HANA experience based in Saudi Arabia.
Start: ASAP
Duration 12 months with a possible extension
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Rate: Negotiable + IQAMA Transfer or Visa
One of our clients is currently looking for a SAP BI/BW- Hana - Trained consultant to join an ongoing green field SAP implementation project.
This role is for a Junior resource who will be supporting the lead.
Skills:
- High skills in SAP NetWeaver Technology
- Work Experience of BW on HANA. Version 7.4 SP5 onwards.
- Good working knowledge on Eclipse modelling environment.
- Having past work experience on the Bex Query Designer and Composite
- Around 4-6 years of experience in SAP BI/BW,1 Year in SAP HANA
Desired Experience:
- Work Experience of BW on HANA. Version 7.4 SP5 onwards.
- Good working knowledge on Eclipse modelling environment.
- Having past work experience on the Bex Query Designer and Composite
- BW (7.4) on HANA SAP knowledge and understanding of native HANA development environment, with features such as - Open ODS Views and Advanced DSO (ADSO) that are focused on modelling non-SAP views from within a BW context.

- Ability on modelling non-SAP views from within a BW context.
- Experienced in importing SAP BW Models in SAP HANA, Converting the standard DSO into HANA Optimized DSO, - Standard Info Cube into HANA optimized Info cube.
- includes Data-Modeling, Data Extraction, Generic Extraction, Data Loading, Scheduling, Monitoring, LO-Cockpit, Info-cubes, Multi-Cubes, SPOs, DSO objects, Info Packages, Transformations and DTPs,Bex- Analyzer and Bex Query.
- Resource must have ability to create analytic and calculation views for required streams
- Should have skills for data Provisioning and replicating data from source system to HANA Database using SLT and - Business Objects Data Services.
- Ability to perform transformations during the replication process.
- Should be able to created HANA modelling scenarios and activities such as adding a system, creating schemas and - content models, attributes and measures, hierarchies.
- Ability to monitor the replication process using SAP HANA studio and SAP LT Replication Server for transactional integrity.
- Work experience in Importing meta data, Table definitions, Performing initial load and Replication, Resuming and - Suspending data loads using SAP HANA IMCE(In memory calculation Engine) studio.
- Resource knowledge skills include migrating standard Info cubes to In memory optimized Info cubes using migration Tool and migrating standard DSO's to In-memory optimized DSO's using migration Tool.
- Integration experience in SAP Technologies like SAP PI, SAP BPM, SAP Portal Basis and Security
- Proficient in gathering requirements from the consultants and clients, preparing detailed design, software development, customer service, testing/quality assurance.
