Software Developer/ADA Developer - design, test, Linux, Unix Shell Scripting. Please read the advert in full to understand the required skills/experience before applying.
Seeking a Senior Developer ideally with experience in ADA with good understanding of low-level programming algorithms & logic.
Project language: English. French will be helpful but not essential.
Development, maintenance & support of critical systems. Implementation (design, code, test) in ADA & Unix Shell Scripting.
Although ADA knowledge is a big asset, knowledge of in-depth workings of a computer and complex software is more important. An ADA training course will be set up if required.
There are mission critical systems that are being further developed which contain more than 2 million lines of code each. This will best fit developers who can actively develop thousands of lines of code, develop strong algorithms and can do extensive trouble-shooting in existing code.
Project scope encompasses evolution of existing applications,mainly written in ADA and including new functionality and implementation of new components.
Experience in Air Traffic Management industry will be beneficial.
Mandatory skills/experience:
Development, maintenance & support of critical systems.
Implementation (design, code, test) in ADA & Unix Shell Scripting.
Participate in test automation preparation and implementation.
Write documentation, mainly of technical nature.
Peer code reviews.
Knowledge of Linux and any relational database knowledge will also be required and checked during the interview process.
