Our client in Amsterdam is looking for an experienced (senior level) Full Stack Development Engineer to strengthen one of its multidisciplinary teams that delivers complex propositions for their clients. In this team you will work side-by-side with UX and Customer Journey experts on these propositions.

Full Stack Application Development Engineer who is not afraid to be proactive towards other team members and other teams
Discuss and decide with Product Owner, User Experience and Customer Journey experts on the content of the propositions
We operate according to an Agile Scrum development process and strongly believe in the DevOps approach to delivering IT solutions. The focus is on high-quality mission-critical software delivered in time using iterative development with regular milestone demos, so that at the end there are no surprises about what we built.
Profile
Bachelor / Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years of software engineering experience
You are able to develop efficient and maintainable code with the right balance between solving the problem at hand and not over-engineering your solution
You have hands on OO design experience and knowledge of software design patterns
Good knowledge of OS fundamentals (e.g. Linux, Windows)
Passionate about code quality and (integration) test automation (JBehave)
Knowledge of Perfomance testing via Gatling is a pre
Excellent knowledge of Java 7/8 including the Spring framework 3.x/4.x
Working knowledge of AngularJS and JavaScript
Experience with Git/GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Grunt, NodeJS, Bower
Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) or NoSQL databases (Cassandra)
Working knowledge of JPA/Hibernate
Knowledge of Spring Batch is a pre
Knowledge of WebComponents and Polymer is a pre
Knowledge of Liquibase (for data migrations) is a pre
Knowledge of JBOSS Drools (Business Rules Engine) is a pre
Great English and Dutch communication skills, verbal as well as written
