For our client in Leeuwarden we are looking for an Ops Engineer (Linux, Oracle, Websphere, Puppet).
For the Document Management teams the client is looking for creative, passionate IT engineers. The Document Management department is responsible for the development and maintenance of all applications with regard to document composition, print management, scanning / data capture and archiving. We are working with state of the art software packages from EMC2.
As part of the xPression team you will have a crucial role in managing high volume document design of different types of documents (like statements, mortgages letters) for the customers. You will be responsible for supporting applications/tools for the business partners with 7*24 availability.
You have experience with Red Hat Linux, IBM Webshpere, Oracle and preferably experience in the field of document management. You will contribute to the team's strategy of rolling upgrades and maintaining performance, availability, monitoring, security and Continuous Delivery pipeline. Together with other Ops and Dev Engineers in your team you will work according to the Scrum methodology.
The xPression team within the Document Management department is responsible for the development, lifecycle management and operations of xPression and its related components (including self-developed applications).
Your main tasks will be
Maintaining the xPression and own-developed software, middleware and OS in two-week sprints. You actively participate in the Scrum process and in Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices. You will play a positive role with your DevOps team growing the experience and knowledge within your team.
As an IT OPS Engineer at Document Management you and 6 other enthusiastic professional colleagues will work together in a DevOps team in Leeuwarden (The Netherlands). Delivering a generic service, it's important that you are proactive and be focused on delivering a continuously improvement of the domestic Dutch Customer Experience.
Requirements:
-knowledge and experience with Red Hat Linux (preferably at least LPIC1 certification)
-knowledge and experience with use of Oracle-knowledge and experience with using IBM Websphere
-knowledge and experience with configuration tools like Puppet and Ansible
-knowledge and experience in the field of Document formatting (preferably Xpression)
