For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Dev Engineer (Java/REST API) . We use state-of-the-art applications and work with the latest Java-based systems.
As an engineer you will work on development of Contend Delivery System.
We work Scrum/Agile in small team with sprints of 2 weeks.
You would be responsible for
Refining
Designing
Developing/programming the functionality
Testing
Quality Assurance
Aftercare
Content Delivery System is responsible for continues work of multiple systems under high load.
So reliability and security under high traffic is a must.
Skills required
- HBO / University Graduate (Master) degree;
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience in large organizations;
- You are able to develop efficient and maintainable code in a complex environment.
- As developer you have advanced knowledge of Java 7/8, Elastic, REST API;
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration
- Knowledge of Gnu/Linux, Web and Application Servers, Databases
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Fortify, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Selenium, etc;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps;
- Knowledge of Scala is a plus
- Experience of working on high volume systems is a plus
