For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for an experienced Java/NodeJS developer (Linux).
Description Senior Java/NodeJS developer (Linux) (QR4195) :
The purpose of the tribe is to accelerate delivery of all squads (DevOps teams) and tribes (Departments), by providing "enablers", that are easy to find, easy to use, and always reliable and secure.
Currently we do this by delivering six highly integrated products: The Content platform, The Browser platform,The API platform, The Distributed Data platform (incl. Cassandra, Kafka Eventbus), The Gateway/Proxy, Road2Production (incl. Continuous Delivery as a Service - CDaaS)
You are part of the Continuous Integration team where you will develop standard solutions that enable teams to build and integrate their software frequently and reliable.
Together with the Product Owner and the team you define and plan the solutions that add the most value for teams globally. Our standard CI solutions currently include GitLab, Artifactory, Jenkins and Sonar. We deliver everything integrated as a service. To enable this you are developing a variety of services like API's, scripts and automated LCM processes.
You contribute to the team performance by making the implementation a team effort, where everybody contributes and learns. You support engineers in using our products and constantly gather feedback to improve both the product and the way-of-working.
We work with the newest agile processes, what means that learning from each other, failing and winning together are very important.
Besides that, we strongly believe in automated testing and continuous delivery.
Profile Senior Java/NodeJS developer (Linux) (QR4195) :
- You are inspired by the above
- And have a Bachelor and/or Master degree in Information Technology
- At least 4 year experience with a programming language like Java and/or NodeJS.
- You are an experienced Linux engineer
- Have Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Automated Testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum DevOps teams is mandatory
- You enjoy to come up with architecturally sound solutions in new technologies
- Comfortable with collaboration and open communication
- You like to solve complex IT problems
- You have the capability to improve team performance
- Expertise in Docker is a plus
