Description
My client, a leading consultancy working on a major migration project in the South West are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join on site in Bristol, on an initial 5 month contract that is likely to extend. The ideal candidate will have experience in a retail banking or financial services industry, a strong finance background, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the Banking Management team
- Maintain and control Non Personal Accounts (NPAs)
- Management of a number of systems and databases
- Performing a large number of reconciliations to perform a check between the data produced from various source systems to the balances reported
- SAP Journal processing for various Business Units
- Processing of SAP Journals of inter-system and money transmission settlements
- Manage the impact to the team of the migration from the current platforms onto the target infrastructure
- Settlement and reconciliation processes related to the delivery/collection of cash to the branch network
- Adjust the operations of the team where necessary to support change projects
Key Skills:
- Project management skills
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Able to develop expert understanding of relevant financial systems and processes
- Ability to implement change
- Strong commercial awareness
