Description
My client in Manchester is currently looking for a Web Designer on an initial 3 month contract basis. Rates are negotiable on a daily basis.
The Web Designer will be expected to:
- Design and develop web pages, HTML emails, web/digital display adverts
- Maintain and update existing websites and web pages
- Support and provide design and front-end coding feedback for other members of the team
- Modify / reverse-engineer existing CSS/HTML/JS code
- Prototype at various levels to get client feedback as part of responsive design process
The Web Designer will need to have:
- The ability to produce quality responsive design work
- 5+ years' web design and development experience
- HTML, CSS, BEM SASS, JavaScript (jQuery), Photoshop, Illustrator/Fireworks
- The ability to create and optimise frontend image formats
- The ability to design and develop HTML5 and GIF animated banner ads
