IT Support Engineer ( Windows 10 / Office nd Line Support )
A IT Support Engineer ( Windows 10 / Office nd Line Support ) is required for my prestigious healthcare client based in Northampton. The successful IT Support Engineer ( Windows 10 / Office nd Line Support ) will have relevant experience in the area of 2nd line support and a very good candidate will have experience within the healthcare sector. The individual will either be required to have Enhanced DBS Clearance which is not more than 12 months old, drawn by the supplying Agency or be prepared to obtain DBS Clearance prior to commencing any assignment with the client. Due to the nature of our environment DBS Clearance is required prior to commencing any role.
Tasks included:
- Windows 10 project.
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support activities to the project.
- Provide hands on and remote support.
- Represent the desktop engineers in Windows 10 project meetings.
- Work with test teams and pilot users to support the Windows 10 build and application testing activities.
- Support the senior engineers with installation, troubleshooting and configuration activities.
- Undertake application packaging and desktop packaging using SCCM 2012. Build laptop and desktop PC's via SCCM.
Essential Skills:
- Be the public face of the Windows 10 project. Provide 1st and 2nd line support activities to the project. Ensure knowledge is captured to support service transition.
- Provide hands on and remote support.
- Represent the desktop engineers in Windows 10 project meetings.
- Work with test teams and pilot users to support the Windows 10 build and application testing activities.
- Support the senior engineers with installation, troubleshooting and configuration activities.
- Undertake application packaging and desktop packaging using SCCM 2012. Build laptop and desktop PC's via SCCM.
Knowledge of the following would be beneficial:
- Experience within a major desktop replacement project. Preferably from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
- Experience with SharePoint and/or OneDrive on Premise.
- Experience with user profile management tools.
- Bit locker
- McAfee security products
The ideal IT Support Engineer ( Windows 10 / Office nd Line Support ) will be someone who has recent and relevant experience in a Windows 10 desktop replacement project and who has a strong Infrastructure skillset.
Contract Length: 3 Months (37.5 hours per week)
Rate: £15 - £22.50 Per hour
