Our client is urgently searching for a Mainframe Project Manager with Infrastructure, applications delivery, Mainframe, ITIL and banking experience to work on a critical project in a location in mainly Copenhagen, Denmark, as a contractor.

A successful candidate will have strong experience in:

Project Management
Mainframe Testing
Mainframe Application
Application management
HP NonStop platform
Infrastructure and applications (Architecture and Delivery)
Mainframe knowledge

Preferred: Service Management (ITIL)
Banking experience

The role

The Mainframe Project Manager is also known as the Application Delivery Coordinator which is a Project manager (Mainframe) profile accountable to establish the necessary environments for the in scope applications.

The role is to coordinate between IT infrastructure, application providers, and IT business units to successfully deliver the applications.

It's important to have knowledge about Mainframe, the IBM platform and the HP non-stop platform.

Also, knowledge about Mainframe application delivery and Mainframe infrastructure delivery.

The Core Banking Program (CBP) is committed not only to reshaping the business aspect of the bank but streamlining and maturing the technical side too. To do so, we are looking for an IT project manager who can help us establish an End-To-End Test Environment Management Service.

This initiative aims at creating a capability for automating the setup of end-to-end environments across all platforms and applications in addition to ensuring proper governance, management and operations of these.

This role will require you to collaborate closely with stakeholders from across the organisation including application providers, platform owners, operations and other teams spread across different locations in the Nordics, Poland and India in order to establish the necessary test environments for the selected applications.

To succeed in this role, you must have experience in managing remote teams and coordinating between different parties. Additionally, knowledge about environments management, test data management and service management is highly regarded.

From a personal perspective, you are a good communicator, you possess an open mind and natural curiosity, which coupled to your problem solving skills, help you motivate and lead others towards achieving the outlined vision.

Responsibilities

. Plan and coordinate the application delivery for the assigned cluster and wave to the given timeline

. Per Mainframe application:

. Gather, align and document Data/Interfaces/Access/Job requirements from program and/or application provider

. Create and place Data/Interfaces/Access/Job orders/requests

. Plan and Track delivery activities

. Report/Escalate Risks and Issues

. Coordinate the shakedown test (basic technical and functional test)

. Prepare and Transition the application to TEM operation

. Resolving conflicts

. Communicate and align with the other Application Delivery Coordinator

. Execute the defined order and delivery processes and make proposals to improve process
