Location: Walloon Brabant, Belgium
For our client, an international financial organization, we are looking for an Information Security Engineer to enable both coworkers and consumers to securely, efficiently, and intelligently conduct data circulation regardless of the channel. You will be part of the Data Security Team of our client.
Mission:
- Identify the Business needs and translate them into a technical solution
- Implementation of both infrastructure and security modules
- Manage effective relationships with different internal collaborators (B2B & B2C)
- Translate security and risk management terminology into business terms
- Recommend alternative solutions
- Design secure multi-domain Internet facing applications
- Articulate strategies and define solutions in appropriate terms to implement the infrastructure within the client's environment
Your profile:
Do you feel comfortable talking to customers and collaborators to understand their needs? Can you produce complete studies, reconciling customer needs and product strategy? These qualities are essential! We're also looking for the following skills and experience:
- University degree in ICT or equivalent
- Min 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong aptitude for analysis, a results-oriented worker
- Outstanding communication skills, and a good command of spoken and written English
- Theoretical knowledge and understanding of applied cryptography and "public key infrastructure" principles
- Quick to get to grips with new technologies
- Professional experience in writing technical and security requirements
- Professional experience in documenting issues and associated resolution plan
