Cloudera Developer - Contract - SC Security Cleared - Big Data, Hadoop - Edinburgh
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cloudera Developer to work on a new Big Data project. You'll be working on an initial 3 month position as part of a delivery team on a proof of concept with production pencilled in to follow on from this immediately. The position will require an individual with current security clearance to SC level or higher and technical development capabilities and detailed knowledge of the Cloudera platform to implement the technology for the first time. You will need to be comfortable in client facing roles and in challenging Big Data environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Working experience on Cloudera platform, on a number of roles (or long term)
- Able to establish data processing, data ingestion and Analytics
- Great interpersonal skills
- SC Clearance
SC Security Clearance or higher is a must to be considered for the role. You should also have great communication skills to engage with the team effectively and any wider knowledge of Big Data technologies will only help.
