DevOps Engineer
One of our leading clients is looking for a DevOps Engineer for an fantastic opportunity with the Financial industry working with the latest technologies. This is a contract duration of 6-12 months, with immediate starts for the right DevOps Engineer.
The Project for the DevOps Engineer:
- The objective of the programme is to optimize the build, test and deployment strategy of different technologies by implementing new processes and supporting tools which follow the DevOps principles.
- Work on the different tracks implement these changes and roll them out within the IT organization.
- In this role you will be in contact with many teams/stakeholders (from development to release management) in the IT organization and will ensure the new processes fulfil the requirements, remove silos and allow a smooth cooperation between teams.
- You will also accompany development teams who want implement DevOps principles and train them on the best practices.
- The DevOps Engineer will be part of the IT Web Framework & DevOps team
- Validate how new processes and requirements can be implemented
The DevOps Engineer should have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in development platforms such as Java/IOS/Android/.Net
- Thorough understanding of the SDLC
- Experience in implementation of continuous build, integration and deployment systems
- Experience in the administration, setup and maintenance of Jenkins as continuous build and integration platform
- Experience in Java development
- Experience with continuous build platforms (SVN/Git, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins)
- Experience with Scripting languages for automation
- Experience in code scanning tools (Sonar/Fortify) is a plus
- Experience in mobile development tools for Android and IOS platforms is a plus
- Experience on Windows platforms
- Experience on Linux platforms
