Opening in Raleigh, NC for a CPU Low Power Design Verification Engineer.
2 year contract position.
In this role, you will be working on the verification of a high-performance, low-power ARM CPU employing leading-edge verification technologies to create low-power, high-performance products. You will collaborate with other engineering teams to complete solutions that address functional, performance, power, and cost requirements.
In this role, you may be involved in any of the following:
Work closely with design and verification lead(s) for design details
Develop and modify test-fixtures, transactors and models to improve design quality, based on high-level specification and design team meetings
Specify detailed testplan/write test code using ARM assembly, C and System Verilog
Analyze coverage results and address with testbench enhancements
Debug RTL design using a variety of industry tools and internal methods
Participate in testplan and testcode reviews with technical leads.
Minimum Qualifications:
We are looking for engineers that possess the following skills and a minimum of 2 years of industry experience:
- RTL level CPU/L2 low power design verification
- Power Aware verification
- Assembly language programming for ARM (preferred) or other architectures
- Use of industry-standard RTL simulation and debug tools
- Specification and creation of design test benches using UVM, Verilog, or System Verilog
- Functional coverage driven verification
- Perl or similar Scripting language
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work well with team/clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
