For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

Windows 10 Incident Support Specialist - Madrid

We are looking for candidate to coordinate and technical support of incidents/feedback in the platform provisioning stream of the Windows 10+ project. Working language is English.

Background:
Our client is launching the project for the global Windows 10 migration and is seeking support for the project.

The following items will be upgraded:
Windows 7 - Windows 10
Internet Explorer 10 - Internet Explorer 11
Microsoft Office 2010 - Microsoft Office 2016

This translates to an impact on the company globally (all sites and business functions) as well as the support processes and tools. Furthermore the project is expected to have many dependencies to other business and IT endeavors that need to be identified and managed accordingly.

To help the organization familiarize themselves with the new solution, the project has already started handing out the first Windows 10 test installations to a small group of IT users ( Early Adopters) and will continue to do so until the pilot phase and the actual rollout.

Purpose:
The candidate will be responsible for the management of the Early Adopters/Pilot and hypercare period as well as supporting the IE11 rollout in Windows 10+ project.

This includes

  • Follow the processes defined for the Win10 hypercare and IE11 rollout
  • First level support before escalating issues to Engineering
  • Tracking of tickets and aligning with Platform Provisioning Stream- Engineering team and other streams (OCM, Deployment Readiness, Application Remediation) in case of problems

Tasks:

  • Work closely with all Windows 10+ project streams
  • Support the Windows 10 users on the technical image (pilot and Hypercare period)
  • Support for Early adopters
  • Support and incident management for the IE11 rollout

Requirements:

  • You have a deep technical knowledge and experience in at least three of the following technologies:
  • Internet Explorer management, Java and application compatibility
  • Operating Systems (Windows 7,10)
  • Microsoft System Center
  • Hardware and devices management
  • Experience in End User Support
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
