Embedded Hardware Digital Signal Processor Architect (audio domain)
For one of our semiconductor clients in Belgium, we are looking for a hardware designer to design DSPs used for audio processing (so, the design needs to include an audio processing subsystem). You need to be an expert in Digital Signal Processor architectures including multi-processors designs, instruction set design, SoC networks, memory architectures, pipelining, arithmetic data operations, etc. Familiar with audio processing, both in time and frequency domain, multi-rate filtering, sample rate conversion and adaptive filtering. Notions of wireless audio streaming and related communication protocols. Having worked in HW/SW co-design, with tools like Synopsis Target Compiler Technology. Given the application domain, Ultra Low Power ASIC/SoC design and verification, both Front End and Back End are essential. Project language: English.
This is a long-term assignment for at least one year, with a good chance of further extension.
