Description

My client, a leading bank, based in London requires a number of Operational Risk Model Managers of varying levels of seniority.

The role holder will work with an off shore team to research, develop and implement models for the calculation of Operational Risk. The role holders responsibilities will include but not be limited to model governance committees, planning, assisting in recommendations for model methodology and model development.

Essential Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of scientific codeing and programming tools EG C++ Mathematica and MatLab
  • PhD/Masters in Maths or physics
  • Experience in a quantitative role in operational risk or finance
  • Experience in a large financial institution
  • Understanding of Credit and Market Risk
  • Strong leading/training ability
