Description
Brand new project - huge - looking for several engineers for up to 3 years on contract ! - we need strong Perl Scripting skills within a hardware design environment.
The job involves design, verification, testing and documentation of the tools within a new Continues Integration flow for our customer. It starts on the current prototype which should be updated, enhanced, verified and documented.
The work includes:
*Design planning
*Design specification
*Design implementation
*Design verification
*Software testing
*Documentation
*Proof of concept on an existing design.
The tool is developed in Perl and JavaScript.
A successful candidate is expert in Perl Scripting.
As well as having experience in ASIC design using VHDL and System Verilog and RTL integration.
Both written and spoken English skills are required. Personal profile should also include a positive attititude, a desire to assist fellow engineers, structured way of working, care with details and a natural talent in communicating with others.
You enjoy working both independently and in a small diverse and you are focused on reaching result on time. As a person you must be thorough and able to work with many different people.
The work will be carried out in a cross functional team using Agile ways of working.
Required skills:
*Excellent Scripting skills in Perl
*Experiences in software testing
*Experiences in Hardware design, (VHDL, System Verilog)
Preferred Skills:
*Experiences in working with JavaScript is a plus
*Experiences in working with JSON is a plus.
*Knowledge about compiler development is a plus.
*Knowledge about Agile (scrum) ways of working is a plus.
*Knowledge of ASIC/FPGA verification methodology in general is a plus.
*Knowledge about Formal verification is a plus.
