Description
Seeking an Infrastructure Architect to work on a Greenfield digital innovation project based in Central London. This is a 6 month minimum term contract with likely extensions beyond. The Infrastructure Architect will need to have an excellent background of working on Cloud and Big Data projects.
You will be responsible for owning the infrastructure architecture, aligning it with enterprise standards and principles. You will continuously evolve the infrastructure architecture and design, provide day-to-day infrastructure architecture guidance and identify, resolve or escalate issues related to infrastructure design.
As the successful Infrastructure Architect you must have the following experience:
* Excellent Infrastructure Design and Architecture SME i.e. platforms, storage, networks.
* Architecting highly resilient infrastructure with rapid response and recovery times
* Designing the infrastructure for websites
* Ability to establish and maintain relationships with C level stakeholders
* Cloud and hybrid cloud based architectures, in particular where real-time integration with internally hosted solutions was required
* Cloud platforms i.e. AWS, VMware vCloud, Azure
* Experience of Big Data i.e. Hadoop
* Converged infrastructure i.e. IBM PureFlex and VCE VBlock
* Ability to produce architecture documentation and artefacts
