For different missions at the EU institutions in Brussels, Ordina is searching several Senior JAVA Software Developers / (Junior) Architects.WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Within the context of the development and deployment of applications the EU institutions need the on-site support by a dedicated team to develop, test, debug, deploy, analyse and provide support. The work consists of tasks related mainly to the Back Office applications.
• Architecture and design of information systems
• Review of the architecture of existing systems
• Design and development of component architecture and building blocks
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems
• Data analysis and data modelling
• Implementation of the technical architecture
• Production of software architecture documents
• Development and maintenance of information systems
• Development and integration of technological components
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
• Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the evaluation and the reporting
• Installation, deployment and configuration of information systems
• Follow-up of incidents related to information systems (3rd level support)
• Follow-up of bug reports
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience;
• Excellent knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture;
• Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of UML;
• Good knowledge of Java 6, JEE, Spring Framework, JDBC Template, JPA, Hibernate, JMS, Quartz ;
• Good knowledge of Java/JSP;
• Knowledge of BEA WebLogic, JBoss or Apache
• Knowledge of WDSL, SOAP and XML Standards
• Considered a plus: Apache Ant, Maven, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle OSB, Apache Camel, Apache Reverse Proxy, Adobe Coldfusion 12.
• In-depth knowledge of integration, build and test methodologies;
• Capability to work in English;
• Capability to work in team in a multicultural and multilingual environment;
• Capabilities to draft documents in English, hold meetings and keep the minutes
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE REQUIRED
• Oracle (min. 8 years);
• Java (min. 6 years).

• The missions will be located at the EU in Brussels
• English spoken and written.
