MS Dynamics AX Trade And Logistics Consultant - English Speaking. Sassenheim, Netherlands. Start 14th November Month+ Contract
Our client based in Sassenheim, Netherlands, requires an English speaking MS Dynamics AX TRADE and LOGISTICS Consultant for the following initial 6 month project which has a good possibility of further extensions.
The client is implementing a new ERP system landscape that supports their stores businesses within the countries UK, DK, SE, NO, NL, FR and CH. This implementation runs parallel to optimizing and standardizing the stores and financial processes for the countries mentioned.
They are looking for a Dynamics AX Trade and Logistics consultant to first strengthen the MS Dynamics AX applications support team and later to help them with further roll-outs. Therefore, the assignment will initially be for 6 months with possible extensions.
Location: Sassenheim (Netherlands) with 50% travel to Paris (France).
Process:
- Gather requirements for any functionality gaps in first instance for the UK stores.
- Write the gap summary document including listing possible solution options and gain agreement of the proposed solution from the impacted parties
- Write functional design documents for any gaps
- Ensure any deliverables are signed off by the correct members of the team and extended team
- Work effectively with the Build team to ensure requirements for the data objects are understood and built according to requirements
- Unit test the build prior to user testing to ensure the build is fit for purpose
- Ensure the testing log is maintained
- Ensure adherence to the methodology and advise on improvements throughout the project life cycle
- Ensure all own deliverables are presented to a high standard
Organisation/Department:
- Support the project management in the delivery of the Program within EMEA Stores
- Consult and interact with relevant business parties and stakeholders on an ongoing basis
COMPETENCES REQUIRED
Experience & Educational Requirements:
- Functional expertise (10 years of experience) in MS Dynamics AX 2012 R2 and/or R3 in Trade and Logistics.
- At least 5 years in roles implementing and supporting MS Dynamics AX 2012.
- Demonstrable ability to self-start, work independently and to hit the road running .
- A good understanding of Dynamics AX 2012 architecture - AX clients, AX Servers, network, Citrix, SQL etc. - especially in the context of application performance.

- An expert knowledge of all aspects of data to provide guidance and support for all systems
- Influencing and Interpersonal skills
- Experience with the Microsoft tools
Capabilities:
- Demonstrated experience in Dynamics AX solutions consulting doing fit-gap analysis and providing solutions to the business making best use of standard solutions over bespoke.
- Experience in working with mature incident, problem, release- and change management processes and supporting systems.
- Strong communicator, with the ability to communicate and liaise with people from all levels of the business, across countries
- Capable of engaging in and comfortable with, detailed process and cross application systems issues
- Maintains a sufficiently flexible approach to constantly changing demands to be able to respond and adapt in a controlled manner
Languages:
- Must speak fluent English
- French is very nice to have and would be ideal
