Senior Software Test Analyst Numeric Accounting Fund Admin SQL XML
Exactest have an immediate requirement for a Senior Test Analyst to work with one of our Financial Services clients based in Dublin city centre. Must have extensive Financial Services experience, numeric testing, accounting, fund administration, trading platforms, pricing, pensions, investment management experience.
It is essential that the Senior Test Analyst is self-motivated and has a demonstrable history of delivery in an agile team.
An in depth knowledge of financial accounting business processes is essential as you will be required to translate multi-path business processes and user stories into a cohesive test set within a short time-frame.
Responsibilities
- Gain understanding of the project deliverable's and requirements and implement the approved test strategy
- Translate Business Requirements, User Stories and supporting documentation into suitable test cases
- Support the development of the testing plan
- Define Test Cases and Test Scripts, devised from key business processes
- Define and manage test data requirement to enable execution of test cases
- Support the definition and implementation of the testing entry and exit criteria with key stakeholders
- Execution and reporting of test case results
Core Skills
- 5+ years' experience in Financial Services environment
- Testing of accounting transactions, strong numeric testing experience, fund administration
- SQL, XML and Batch Process Testing
- Excellent communication, documentation and reporting skills
- Proactive hard working individual with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to respond well to change and maintain flexibility while keeping focus on objectives
- Clear thinking with a can-do attitude
- Strong team player
- Exposure to Test Automation tools and frameworks desirable
- ISTQB/ISEB Certification
