For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer. We use state-of-the-art applications and work with the latest Java-based systems.
We work Scrum/Agile in small teams with sprints of 2 weeks.
You will deliver business value across the entire end-to-end application chain together with your team. You understand the total stack and you contribute to all activities on your backlog. You are able to move all stories and tasks from To Do to Done.
Some examples of activities are:
- Refining;
- Designing;
- Developing/Building;
- Testing;
- Assuring quality;
- Aftercare.
Skills required
- HBO / University Graduate (Master) degree (IT related);
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience in large organizations;
- CSD (Certified Scrum Developer/Engineer) is a pre;
- You are able to develop efficient and maintainable code in a complex environment;
- As developer you have strong knowledge of Javascript (callbacks, functions, objects);
- Working knowledge on DOJO toolkit, architecture and NodeJS;
- Some working knowledge on Raphaël.
- Knowledge of other frameworks like AngularJS / JQuery;
- Knowledge of rest architecture and browser plugins for testing (eg. advanced REST Client);
- Good knowledge of infrastructure & middleware (e.g. Linux, web- and application-servers, databases, networks, firewalls, proxy-servers);
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, Eclipse, Crucible, Fortify, SVN/Git, Jenkins, Maven, Selenium, etc;
- Work experience in an Agile organization and you have proven Agile mindset and behaviour.
