NextLink is having an exciting position as Senior IT Project Manager to join our leading pharmaceutical client in Switzerland to support the company with a new change project at regional level.Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Ensure successful project delivery in line with the defined success factors (looking at business cases, ensuring end user satisfaction, interacting with IT people within the company, Value Management)
• Co-create the integrated Work Breakdown Structure and Schedule (setting key milestones), building strong partnership with the EMEA IT
• Design, setup and run the appropriate governance & controls
• Ensure effective and consistent project reporting and communications to business and IT decision makers
• Design, setup and execute the appropriate project management processes in order to meet the defined success criteria
• Follow-up on Risks, Actions & Decisions
• Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are documented
Requirements/ Must-Haves:
• Recognized expert-level knowledge of Project Management methodologies, languages, standards and processes with 8+ years of experience in project delivery, preferably with broad industry exposure
• Experience in leading one or more high-level, complex project within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements
• Financial affinity to understand business cases
• Capability to think strategically
• Very good experience in communication and change management
• Proven track record in leading virtual teams (without authority) in multi-cultural environments
• Able to create and lead high performing project teams
• Strong knowledge and experience with IT / IS governance processes (incl. financial management)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in dealing with senior IT leaders
• Excellent ability to communicate to others
• Manage definition and setup of Project together with the Project Manager and stream leads
• Project delivery: Ensure proper tracking and management of project delivery on approved schedule and budget, reporting progresses to the Global Project Manager on a regular basis
• Fluency in English
• PM certification
• ITIL experience (IT infrastructure library)

Period: 8 months (until the end of July 2017)

Location: Basel, Switzerland
Workload: full time, with some travel (primarily in Europe – up to 20%)
