Description
NextGen Global Resources is hiring 2 contract Software Engineers for our client in Mounds View, MN. Our client is growing rapidly in the Internet of Things space and is looking to bring on these two engineers as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Working on projects involving Embedded linux based Routers and gateway
- Write requirements docs, design specs, work on software coding, debug, testing, documentation
- Support product test group
- Looking into issues reported by customers (as needed)
- Work on new products and enhancements to existing products
- Work with product management on product roadmap
Required Knowledge:
- Embedded linux
- C/C++ or Java knowledge
- Experience with Scripting languages: Ruby, Perl, Python
- Experience with open source tools
- Ability to communicate project status and interact with other areas of engineering
