A TOP-END TEAM of Dallas software developers needs a Data Migration/ETL specialist to join their group and migrate customer data. You'll use Talend data integration software and work directly with the customer to ensure sensitive data is migrated successfully among databases. Your ability to write SQL queries is critical, and knowledge of multiple types of databases, such as Oracle and NoSQL is a plus. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, who loves solving problems and who gets along with a variety of people.
You'll work as part of a team and individually and develop a camaraderie where people respect and rely on each other.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
-- 2+ years working with Talend for data migrations.
-- Experience working with other data migration applications.
-- MUST HAVE created data mapping and created data descriptions in preparation for data migrations.
-- Strong experience interpreting stakeholder needs and translating those needs into requirements.
-- 2 years coding experience such as writing SQL queries and working with other database languages.
-- Strong English written and verbal skills.
-- Experience with a variety of databases, including Oracle and open source.
-- MUST be curious about new technologies and open to learning new tech.
