Mainframe, z/OS Build & Deployment Specialist - West Yorkshire, 6 months contract
Brief Summary :
Mainframe (z/OS, RDz, Endevor) experience required.
- Rational Developer + zUnit, Topaz
- Rational Development and Test ( RD&T)
- Experience with CICS development and unit testing with zUnit
- Setting up virtual environments for rapid development and testing using RD&T
Source Control & Build engineering
- Endevor
- Rational Team Concert
- Experience in setting up and managing build jobs
- Integrate various automated tests within the build job
Deployment Automation
- IBM Urbancode Deploy, uDeploy for Z/OS
- Setup a CD pipeline to version build artifacts & download from artifact repository to z/OS and RD&T
- Knowldge of Urbandeploy plugins for CICS, DB2 and IMS
Nice to Have
Monitoring
- Omegamon for z/os
- Splunk/Syncsort
Test Automation & Service Virtualization
- Rational Test Workbench, CA Lisa
- Create functional tests
