iSCALA TECHNICAL LEAD - CONTRACT - 6 months + - ANY LOCATION

iScala Technical lead required to work on a 6 month contract in any location in the EU but preferably Brussels/Prague. The rate is negotiable and the ideal candidate would be able to start ASAP.

Details of key responsibilities are as follows:

Category: SOX

  • Receive KT from Client on the SOX processes defined by Client
  • Review the existing process compliance controls in place and plan for additional process controls as needed
  • Update existing SOX document & update documents in case of minor changes. Coordinate with Client SOX anchors who will revise documentation in case of major changes.
  • Coordinate with Client auditors to perform SOX Testing and independent reviews
  • Work with iScala AMS team for discussion of action items as per SOX audits and identify execution path for the same
  • Ensure Client specified security guidelines are adhered to by the iScala AMS team
  • Validation that SOX processes are followed during release process by the AMS team and L3 team

Category: Reporting Strategy

  • Coordinate with Clients to define report development processes in iScala and update them on need basis.

Category: Cross-Departmental Communication and Coordination

  • Coordination with other IT teams for iScala AMS issues with cross application impact and escalation to Client on need basis.

Category: Capacity Planning

  • Coordinate instance planning with Client infrastructure team who will provide hardware capacity

Category: Quality Control

  • Quality control as per defined processes for developments on the iScala instances

Category: Risk Management

  • Create and update a risk tracker and identify risk mitigation strategies

Category: Third Party Vendor Coordination

  • Coordination with external vendors/product vendors for any issues and project activities. Coordinate with Client IT management for any contract management, escalations, HR interventions
  • Coordinate with Client in identifying the need for any external resources for execution
  • Assist Client in evaluation of the external resources for Client decision making
  • Coordination with 3rd party technical resources for project deliverables, coordinate with Client IT management for any escalations, HR interventions
  • Coordination of Hardware changes by identified execution teams
  • Provide any additional effort estimates for any training activity involving technical project teams in design and standards and the iScala Global Template and work with Client to identify the path to execution of the same

Category: Demand Coordination

  • Analysis of customer requests (up to 5 per month) validate requirements with identified business SPOCs and coordinate execution of the same
  • Review the impact analysis of new enhancements or developments on the existing system performance

Category: Licensing Support

  • Coordinate with Client IT SPOC for license requirement planning
  • Analyze/Calculate number of licenses required for each iScala environment and ensure availability of required licenses
  • Coordinate with Client and iScala vendor SPOC to assign appropriate licenses provided by Client to iScala environments
  • Install Licenses to the appropriate iScala environment

Category: System Continuity

  • Coordinate with the Datacenter for crash recovery, perform the analysis and communication of status to Client business and IT stakeholders
  • Software failure analysis, post-crash recovery with 8D analysis, as required, of the same
  • Infrastructure design and planning with Client infrastructure team
  • Collation of server requirements based on demand in conjunction with the Client IT SPOC

Category: Disaster Recovery

  • Coordinate once in a year disaster recovery planning in conjunction with the Client IT SPOC
  • Participate in once in a year disaster recovery exercises
  • Define and update disaster recovery plans
  • Ensure disaster recovery plans are up to date at all times and approved
