Senior Test Consultant - Insurance/Financial Services - Funds migration project (Dublin)
Senior Test Consultant/Senior Test Analyst with an Insurance based background required by multinational Financial Services organisation for a 6 month funds migration project (high chance of extensions).
The Test Analyst ideally will have previous migration project based experience and will have worked within either an insurance or financial services environment. The Test Consultant will ideally have had previous exposure to JIRA/SQL Server 2012.
The role will entail:
- Responsibility for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
- Involvement in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
- Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.
- Collects and analyses data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the needs of the business.
- Documenting all problems and assisting in their resolution.
- Delivering quality process training to technical staff and acting as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
- Performing quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
- Demonstrable years of systems development, testing and/or business experience.
