Roc Search's Client is currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an IT Project Manager based in Gothenburg, Sweden
The project should secure a timely and secure migration of approx. 100 applications from the current platform to a new modernized platform. While migrating to the new WAS platform work should also be done to change the authentication component (WSL) in the applications.
Responsibilities and Skills
- WebSphere Application Server (WAS) migration
- WebSphere Application Server (WAS) is IBM's Application Server offering
- Lead planning, execution, monitor and control and closing of the project.
- Establish and perform regular cost control and regularly report cost performance according to established routines
- Monitor and control all changes, both to project and possible contract(s), in a formal change control process. Ensure that decisions on changes are taken by the right stakeholders
- Set and manage customer expectations
- Develop periodic reports on a variety of subjects including status, risks and mitigation plans, issues and resolution, and change requests
- Identify risk, assess impact, develop risk mitigation plans and execute mitigation plans
- Identify, manage, resolve, and if necessary escalate issues (an issue is an immediate problem that, if it is not resolved quickly, negatively influences the success of the project)
