My client requires an IT Desktop Support Consultant to join their project.You will Design, implement, and support advanced and diverse technical solutions that address complex business requirements: Effective Deployment, Delivery and Support of IT Services and Solutions (Hardware and Software across IT Infrastructure Platforms) to End Users across the Business Cluster. Proactively manage and monitor Incident Tickets for local business infrastructure (Desktop-, File-, Print-, Telephony-Services; LAN/WAN and Servers) and drive Technical Support to achieve SLA's, including the identification of possible repeating events or trends and coordinated adequate responses. Experience as a Network & System Administrator (AD User/Group) Knowledge of Windows Server Environment (Windows 2012, Windows 2008) Detailed knowledge of End User Desktop/Software/Applications Awareness of Cisco Networking and Data/Voice solutions Awareness of Server Virtualisation using VMWare ESX & Citrix XenServer Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Knowledge of Microsoft Client Operating Systems Familiar with SharePoint. Knowledge of mobile and emerging technologies including iOS, Windows8 and Android based platforms
