GIS Analyst
GIS Analyst needed for an indefinite contract to manage a geospatial data acquisition program that determines how grants are divided across GA. In this role you will coordinate GIS activities with 700+ local governments to meet Federal reporting requirements. Management of the Data Acquisition Plan to include fundamental data elements as required by Acts. Perform compliance education for local government that includes federal laws, state laws, LMIG (Local Maintenance Improvement Grants), state highway revisions and functional classifications. Act as the Transportation Data liaison for over 700 local governments spread across 159 Georgia counties and coordinate annual schedule for LMIG reporting, produce letters for grants, manage email contacts, oversees reconciliation of submitted mileage and audit local government mileage reports. 20%travel required, mostly day trips.
Required experience:
- GIS Analysis 7+ years
- Prior experience meeting with clients
- C level meetings and presentations
- White board ability
- Ability to manage a budget
