For our customer we are looking for a Senior ETL Developer.
We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer to the development team that will work with Back End development and solution design for two systems supporting the organization with various analysis functions and reports, and handles large transaction data volumes. Our customer uses Informatica PowerCenter 9.6.1 as ETL-tool and the Netezza data warehouse appliance. For the Front End users, reports are built in Cognos and one of the systems based on BISCUIT is an inhouse ad hoc and report tool built in .Net.

As a senior ETL developer, you will work within an agile Scrum team with both onsite and offshore team members. The team consists of a scrum master, requirements analyst, solution designer, ETL developers, Front End developers and testers, onsite and offshore, and your main areas of responsibility will be:
- Development of new components and integrations.
- Maintenance of existing components.
- Perform pre-studies, analysis and design when needed
- Troubleshooting development and production problems.
- Support and knowledge transfer to more junior developers
Responsibilities:
- Pre-studies, analysis and design
- Development and maintenance of ETL components (workflows, mappings, sessions etc.) in Informatica Power Center.
- Development, Unit- and Integration test.
- Documentation.
- Assist in solving production issues.
Competence:
- Several years of experience of Informatica PowerCenter.
- Several years of experience of star schemas in relational databases.
- Several years of experience of SQL.
- Good analysis ability and skills.
- Experience and knowledge of Agile methods is appreciated.
- Experience and knowledge of Data Warehouse appliances (preferably Netezza)
- Experience with Subversion is a plus.
- Experience of retail is appreciated.
