Description
For a client within Energy Industry in Denmark, Sirius Business Group is looking for a SCADA Radio Engineer to handle the telecom package concerning radio systems, interfaces, delivery, installation, test, commissioning and documentation.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Be the main technical resource on the telecom contract
- Manage technical interfaces with other stakeholders
- Ensure the correct quality is delivered from the contractor in all phases of the project, ranging from design to installation and commissioning
- Be transparent towards SCADA Manager regarding state of the telecom delivery
- Support the SCADA manager when requirements are changing in the project
- Create and maintain QA plan for telecom delivery
- Review and comment on documentation and work performed by contractor
- Ensure that technical standards are upheld, and provide input to new standards.
- Technical interface with Substation, MHCC, WTG and other 3rd party integrators to ensure the functionality across systems
- Participate in all test eg FAT, Integration, yard/onshore test and SAT
- Participation in all meetings with the telecom contractor
- Secure the technical quality of the documentation
- Write technical related communication notes (CN)
- Feedback lessons learned on projects into design basis and tender material
- Help preparing the technical part of the tender material when new revisions are released
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of project experience required, and technical RF knowledge at B.Sc level
- Practical installation experience, within radio the field of radio communication
- Knowledge about intermodulation, including passive intermodulation (PIM)
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Visio
- Experience, knowledge and competence within radio technologies such as TETRA, VHF FM/AM, AIS, ADS-B
- A-structured personality is required
- Good communication and team-player skills
- Experience with microwave links, satellite and or WiMax is an advantage
Location: Skærbæk (near Fredericia)-preferred or Gentofte (near Copenhagen)
Work load: Full time, 5 days/week
Duration: 21 November July 2017 (+6 months of extension possible)
