FTTH ODN Technical Services Engineer - 3 months rolling - Leeds
Overview: Be involved in the FTTH OSP project in delivery stage. Act as the surveyor, assist with design handover, manager the on-site work such as Quality/EHS/delivery progress/acceptance/subcontractors.
Role:
Undertake on-site surveys (walk out) based on desktop design, identify surface type and length, engineering difficulties and risks.
Verify proposed cabinet positions on site, submit cabinet position application with local authority and deal with any issues
Supervise subcontractors civil work carried out on site, to make sure on time and good quality
Supervising will include Quality/EHS/delivery progress/acceptance progress/subcontractors performance
Essential Skills:
Experience working as a Field Engineer/TSE on UK FTTH projects, ideally turnkey projects
NRSWA supervisor level - Units 1, 10 to 14, 16
