Windows Server Administrator: One of our market leading clients is urgently seeking an Windows Server Administrator to join their multinational team in a progressive environment, using cutting-edge technologies for an exciting, well-paying and 12 Months contract in Warsaw OR London.

The ideal Windows Server Administrator should ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Senior Windows Server Administrator as primary skill, with UNIX competencies as secondary skill.
  • The candidate must have main working experiences related to his primary knowledge. Additionally, he/she should have technical knowledge on the secondary, in order to be available in a flexible approach to cover multiple task in several environment.
  • Dedication, accountability and flexible mind are mandatory.

    • Experience: Technical support on Client Windows and Middleware areas as per existing setup.

    Primary Knowledge

    • Deep knowledge of operating system OS W2k8, W2k8 R2
    • Knowledge of current Windows Server Hardware
    • Strong Knowledge of VMWare and Citrix
    • Strong MS SQL Server und SQL DB
    • Strong MS Windows Cluster
    • TCP/IP, DNS, Printservice, Fileservice, Active Directory
    • Application Integration and Packagin
    • Very good knowledge of Windows installations in general
    • Very good knowledge from Windows Server
    • Very good knowledge (years of experience) in VB Scripts (scripts & programs)
    • Good knowledge of MS Active Directory
    • Knowledge of MS SQL Server, MS IIS
    • Would be beneficial if the candidate already knows the Euro-DB or Hyper-DB
    • Hardware and virtualization specialist
      • Very good Hardware knowledge particularly in regard to driver
      • Very good knowledge of virtualization (VMWare (must) and Citrix (desirable)
      • Good knowledge of MS Active Directory and Windows general infrastructure
      • Knowledge of MS SQL Server, MS IIS would be advantageous
      • Would be beneficial if the candidate already knows the Euro-DB or Hyper-DB

    Secondary Knowledge

    • Knowledge in WebSphere MQ and MQFTE, Message Broker
    • Know how in Windows and UNIX (Linux, Solaris) operating systems, Shell Scripting, knowledge of UNIX tools
