DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a QA Analyst with Selenium/Automation experience.
The QA Analyst will provide technical leadership in test automation and actively promote quality practices across the organization. Enabling excellent QA practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on quality practices and test automation
- Lead the development of test automation plans and strategies in partnership with application development teams
- Provide development expertise to implement end to end test automation
- Facilitate and promote ongoing improvement of QA processes, methodologies and metrics
- Manage/administer Test Case Management Tool
- Participate in full SDLC and adhere to company's standards
- Conduct research on emerging quality practices, software products, programming languages, and standards
- Actively develop and support other core software platforms within the Core Technology mandate
- Provide level 2 operational support for QA tools which may extend to some evenings and weekends
- Actively contribute to the emerging wiki shared knowledgebase
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years experience in establishing quality methodologies and/or test automation development
- Demonstrated software development experience in Java and/or Python
- Demonstrated experience with test automation throughout the software development life cycle with a commitment to the professional management and operation of critical business IT systems
- Working experience with test automation/performance test tools (LoadRunner, UFT/QTP, Selenium), designing and developing customized frameworks and scripts
- Expert level in one or more Scripting languages: Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell
- Demonstrated experience with SQL, Oracle, Linux and Windows based platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues across the organization at varying levels of seniority
- Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
EDUCATION:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master Degree, or equivalent experience is required
