Senior Test Engineer (Functional & Technical)
Job description
The client has set up a new greenfield infrastructure under the Lucentis program. It has recently begun the application migrations from the current environment to the greenfield area. All applications will be migrated will be tested so that proper action can be guaranteed after the migration and where applications are respected SLAs. On the basis of a methodological test technique, he/she makes sure that at least following areas are covered:
Functional:
System Integration & Testing
Acceptance and Validation Testing (priority)
The focus will be on the functional testing in UAT & PROD environment and testing of all integration with other lines
The candidate:
- Has experience in functional analysis and work.
- Has experience with similar projects and can think along proactively migrating applications and ensure that quality continues to both maintain the application and the service.
- Can both applicative and infrastructure-level thinking to write and perform technical resources, test plans to ensure proper functioning of the applications after migration.
- Will act as SPOC for the segment and create both test plans and implement them.
- Will, after execution of the test scenarios provide a test report showing the status of the project manager and assist with any escalations if necessary.
- Can be flexible and pragmatic in the case of scope changes and/or modifications to the schedule.
- Can work independently within its responsibilities.
- Have the necessary communication skills since a large part of the information must be obtained through consultations with the business-related departments.
- Will support the business testers in the execution of the acceptance tests.
- Can, in the event of issues in a short time to perform an analysis of the problem, and communicate with the technical teams.
- After each migration will conduct a review of the test project and where appropriate a lessons learned and plan opstellen.applicaties/components.
Mandatory Skills:
- At least 5 years experience in testing
- Experience in application migration
- Test performance
- Experience with testing infrastructure
- Experience in system integration and functional testing
- Experience (coaching) business UAT testing
