Description
* Min. 5 years experience in a Functional Analyst role
. Good understanding of business processes, preferably in a Retail business
. Ability to visualize business processes (Visio, UML, ...)l.
. Good technical knowledge and analytical skills across a broad range of IT topics including but not limited to:-
o Experience with Cobol, unix based systems, FTP/middle ware solutions
o Practical experience SQL queries, and XML file structures
o Software installation and troubleshooting
o Windows, Windows 7, Windows 8, Server 2008, 2012
o Understanding of Client Server architecture, Networks & Firewalls
o Basic programming knowledge
. Experience using an incident management tool (eg Remedy, Service now, Jira)
. English is the corporate language; Dutch, French and German would be an asset.
The role is within the Retail solutions team who are focused on delivering Front End solutions which support the sales and operations process
She/he will analyse and develop new business requirements based on business processes and IT application strategy in one or more area. The analyst is also a partner of the business who will propose solutions and recommendations aligned with business needs, local strategy & IT regional strategy. This function is essential to ensure the evolution of the IT application portfolio and master the process and application knowledge internally.
This is a 'hands on' role, so the candidate should have excellent technical and functional skills, a good knowledge of Retail processes and experience managing small to medium sized projects.
